Click on the Wi-Fi network icon found in the notification area's of the taskbar. Next, take note of the exact spelling of the hot spot's SSID. Example: Jimmy Buffet's iPad
Right-click on Start and choose Command Prompt (Or Windows PowerShell)
Copy and paste the following command into the prompt box
netsh wlan set profileparameter name="Jimmy Buffet's iPad" cost=fixed
Change Jimmy Buffet's iPad to your hot spot's SSID... keeping the quotation marks, and press Enter.
Note: This is needed to prevent Windows 10 updates from using your hot spot data.
