If your manager has given you permission to expense a printer for home/vehicle, this is our supported model:
It can be found at most electronic stores, and their respective websites.
This model can hook up to your home router via an Ethernet cable (not included). While the printer is using a cord to your router, you will still be able to print wirelessly, as it is connected to your network. (There have been too many issues using printers' built-in WiFi. The Ethernet to your router approach ultimately achieves the same result.)
USB is even easier than Ethernet, and preferred by IT, but Ethernet is the other connection we will support.
